all so much for your sweet comments and emails about our little "Annie."  She is already an ingrained part of the family – I can’t imagine us without her.

I’ve been meaing to update ye olde blog for awhile.  Topic subjects and posts flitter in and out of my head all the time.   She’ll be two weeks old in just a couple of days and already I feel time slipping away from me!  She’s losing that squooshed puffy newborn look that all babies have at first …. she’s filling out and stretching out and is just so beautiful!  Her little newborn squeaks are turning into louder cries.  She’s more alert and looking around and it’s all I can do not to just gaze at her all day…..

We’re planning a "big photo shoot" sometime this week….so excited for that and have been scouring the internet for newborn baby inspiration.  I’ve snapped a few pictures here and there.  Love the little details shots like these….these "justborn" sized Gerber onesies are exactly the right fit.  She’s been wearing them constantly as that’s the only thing that really fits her.  She’s so dainty.

I’ve also been so thrilled about several purchases I made prior to her arrival.  I have wanted a "sling" type baby carrier for some time and found a website that sells great ones!   I have two different ones  and almost every time we’ve been out in the past week, someone has asked me where I got it.  They are amazingly comfortable, easy to use and oh-so-much better than carrying a carseat!  I wish I had had one with both the boys!  I’ll have to take a picture of her snuggled into it….it’s like having a kangaroo pouch!
