Good morning everyone!  It is pouring rain here in the Texas Panhandle…unusual for our region.  The dogs are pacing around panting and generally worrying over the thunder and lightning.  I had grand plans to work in the yard today but am thankful for an excuse to be inside.  The house is dark and cozy…perfect time to rest and take deep breaths.  These next two weeks will be so busy with end of school activities for the kids and summer preparedness.  In just two weeks my oldest will be an official high schooler and this has me excited, nervous, proud, happy, and sad.  Time really does move so fast when you don’t even realize.

Here’s a painting for today.  Spring colors and happiness.  Just like I like my paintings to be.  I always want them to be happy and joyful.  Really wanting to move outside and start painting more en plein air…with all the rain lately the fields, trees, and grasses around here are bursting with green-ness and beauty.  (just watch out for the mosquitos!)
