Peculiar = individual, distinct from all others, unique, special

Yes, here is the required back to school post complete with chalkboards and pics and cute kids.  Yes, I cried on the way to school (and yesterday and the day before too).  I will MISS them  – oh what a summer we have had!  It was almost too much fun and I find myself wishing it would start again tomorrow.  But it will also be nice to have schedules again and fun activities and less lazy days (did I just say that?)

I have my Gillian home with me watching Strawberry Shortcake.  It will be her first day next year and I am FOR SURE not ready for that.  Next year at that time, I will be a mess.

I am so proud of my beautiful (handsome!) boys and their emerging giftings, talents and interests.  Both of them are uniquely special and I couldn’t love them more.

Here’s to the first day!!!
