The other night, Russell and I were staying up late.  We were happy and laughing and silly and tired.  We both were sharing my iPod headphones (one in each of our ears) and we were laughing ourselves silly.  Imagine:

Punching "shuffle songs" to our over 3000 songs on my iPod.  Laughing hysterically at the songs that play.  Striking funny poses that fit the mood of the song.  Laugh. Laugh. Laugh.

These were the songs that night:

  • Turn off the lights  by Nely Furtado
  • Spit on a Stranger  by Nickel Creek
  • Back to Before sung by Marin Mazzie (this song is from the Broadway musical Ragtime  and was especially funny when Russell "posed" and danced to a mezzo-soprano voice!)
  • Center Stage by the Indigo Girls
  • Sting Me by the Black Crowes
  • Buffalo Soldier  by Bob Marley
  • Horn Concerto by Mozart
  • Follow the Fold from the musical Guys and Dolls (can you tell this is my iPod with my music?? ha!)
  • Scenes from an Italian Restaurant by Billy Joel

Fun times.
