Do you remember being a child, waking up to spend a day in drudgery (aka school) and then, miraculously and amazingly, it's been cancelled due to snow?  Do you remember the joy and the excitement?  Almost as if the day was a huge surprise party in your honor?   Not only did you get to stay in your pajamas for far too long, you got to watch waaay too much Scooby-Doo and Gilligan's Island (okay yes, showing my age a bit here),  laze around, play outside (if you mother could stand getting you in and out and in and out and in and out of your snow clothes), and otherwise have a blast.  Well today is proof that even though times have changed, the snow day still has charm.  Little Gillian and the first sight.
