Don't pass the summer by being too busy to see the beauty around you. I am saying this more to myself than even you. Schedules overwhelm. Stacks pile up. Ideas swirl and obligations mount.
But.
Flowers bloom. Clouds drift. Sun shines. Rain pours. Kids laugh and grow and yes, make messes. But someday, someday….summer's won't be about popsicles and swimsuits and pool toys. I am feeling very sentimental lately; life is swirling and everyone is growing and lickety-split, it's July. Seriously, it was just Christmas.
I'm being cliche and melancholy I know. But. I must tell myself "today is the day" and enjoy it all.
🙂 I think I’m opposite you! 🙂 I’m ready to get this PART of life over and get the next one rolling. 🙂 haha. I’m tired of being a poor college kid, I’m ready to find a place to really just settle down in almost every way! haha. But, I also am trying to enjoy my summer b/c fall is coming. I honestly have felt that the last few days. Yesterday driving somewhere I thought… “oh my goodness. Winter is coming sooner than I want!”. random. 🙂
