For once, it’s not cold outside.  Around 54 degrees and sunny – everyone is out getting their cars washed and walking on the sidewalks.  The snow is melting and the air is still.  *sigh*  So pretty.  Come on, Spring!! I’m ready! Ready for the nursery and the smell of dirt on my hands.  Ready to decide which plants to place in which pot outside…and if I want to be bold and plant something not tested in our backyard.  Ready to see a bit of green peeking from the earth and hear the birds chirping.  Ready to spread a blanket on the grass and have picnics and watch the boys playing….and, in just a couple of months, cuddle a sweet little baby and introduce her to the beauty of the world.

Just feeling happy today.  Can you tell?

I worked on some etsy promos all weekend to help promote my shop to others.  I’ll send them to other sellers (and some buyers) for them to include in packaging going out to others.  I had a lot of fun making these little pins and magnets!  It feels so good to create.

I woke up this morning with the delicious realization that I have no deadlines.  I can do absolutely whatever I want to – and that is something I haven’t felt in a while.  So….I dug out some art supplies that I haven’t used in a while and am making Benjamin a room plaque for his door.  Colin has had one for a while now and I’ve been waiting to make Benjamin’s until I could tell what he was "into."  Colin’s is a train collage and while I was making it, I thought "Benjamin might not be into trains.  I’ll wait to see what he likes."  Well….trains it is! Funny little boys and their trains.  I’ll post it when I’m finished.

I’m listening to David Gray right now and am lovin’ it.  He is so good and has beautiful songs.  Perfect for a day of creating.
