I have tried to think of an eloquent and memorable way to write this but just came down to wanting to share our happy news…..I am expecting!! 🙂

I am due in the Spring and although I’ve been feeling very poorly and generally hermit-y, I’m beginning to feel better even with a nasty head and chest cold that hit me at a most inopportune time. 

I just got home from my November shoot at the CTVW studios and it was so much fun!  There were several "oldies" there, several "newbies" and luckily, my laryngitis didn’t last very long…

Yesterday, I got to sleep in late and then head to the doctor where I heard my little peanut’s heartbeat for the second time….then today I started doing everything that I’ve been meaning to do but just haven’t had the time what with getting ready to do the shoot.  It’s so nice to have time now and not be rushed….

I’m wanting to start some heavy-duty organization and clean up.  Look for some eBay sales coming very soon!  Also check out my Etsy shop for my pretty "sparklies."  Today I went through all the pens and markers on my desk and tossed those that didn’t work…it’s the little things that make me happy, I tell ya!

I’ve also been storing up some yummy (looking) recipes (haven’t tried them yet)…..I’m still determined to be a cook!  Just finding the time and being able to stock all the ingredients is such a challenge for me….but…look for some recipes coming soon.

I’ll post more updates as the weeks go on.  I’ve been horribly lax at emailing and have a huge pile to get to – I’m so sorry if you’ve think I’ve forgotten all about you! 

Last but not least….Benjamin and I went to vote today while Colin was in school.  I told Benjamin that we were going to go and VOTE!! and he was so sad when we left the polling center because he thought we were going to go on a BOAT! Awwwww….aren’t kids cute??
