I've been anxious to blog this session for quite awhile.  What a truly beautiful family.  This mini-session was anything but.  It was FULL of light and laughter, running and chasing, walking and skipping.  L and M contacted me and I was thrilled to meet them on this magical late-summer eve.  The two are from Idaho and being slightly new to the area and wanting photos for their loved ones who live far away, I was honored they chose me to take these photos for them.

You know I like to style my shoots with different fun things…this quilt has to be the favorite of the summer season as I brought it along on several shoots.  The little chalkboard has been in my family for umpteen million years and is always fun for the kids.  And…btw, isn't mom's hair fantastic??

And speaking of awesome hair, I think he wins the "most-awesome-baby-hair-in-the-world" award.

Little Miss Z wasn't super interested in sitting and reading.  We played games.  I followed her around.  I talked to her.  We played more games.  We walked around some more.  We collected leaves.  We looked at flowers.  We tracked fairies.  Then, I snapped this:

And then we took more walks…up and down the beautiful street as the sun was setting. It couldn't have been more sweet.

They sat a cuddled a bit….one of my favorites.  Note:  You don't have to look at the camera to get sweet pictures!  ;)

And this has to be my favorite.  This pic wins the "sun setting behind the gorgeous couple on the beautiful brick street" award.  Because I said so. And, for the record, little boy "M's" expression and stylish do, make my day.
